Daniel may be only two years old, but he is my son, and he deserves more than just being loved; he deserves to be respected too.

How do we deal with our ever-changing identity? We are once this and that, but now we are no more. For me, that sense of loss was profound until I change my paradigm on life.

I am not sure if it was his stomach flu, the change in routine or my late nights at work that made Daniel more distant from me while at the same time, more reluctant to let me go.
