My first post - How it all started

This photo inspired me to start this visual journal aka blog.

The date was 30 Dec 22 when I received this photo in my family group chat. Ibu said that Ihsan and Aryssa were playing around, unearthing the collection of old photo albums, when they came across this particular photo.

I was in KL with my own family at the time of receiving this message. I stared at the photo and began wondering the many questions that came to mind. Where was this at? What were those that we were wearing? Mickey Mouse on kakak? Fishes on abang? How old was I? Did we have fun? How was the weather like that day? Did something memorable happened ... before or after .. this photo was taken?

My eyes then darted towards my wife and Daniel. Especially Daniel. I don't want you to grow up looking at your photos from the past - like this KL trip - and felt so distant or unfamiliar with the memories that you once lived and breathed; even more so when you were full of joy and happiness on this holiday.

So that is where I thought to myself - since I have a passion for documentary photography which has been overtaken by life events for the past five to six years - why not rekindle that love for writing and photography once more? But this time round, I dedicate it to you, my family.
